It allows you to store your book information under categories (like: Fiction, Health, etc) along with the key book details like title, author, publisher, ISBN, pages, whether you have read it or not, whether you've loaned it to someone, a description of the book etc.
The program will cache cover images for you, as well as provides functionality for getting additional book information from Amazon Web Services (tm). The program is very basic but useful, and easy to customize for your needs. It can also provide a good foundation for those learning about Amazon's developer tools. This was my first PHP project and so the code could use a lot of improvements, but it's simple and easy to understand. It is recommended only for personal use, because it's not properly secured (only basic security of the admin).
